From Korea to London
CheeMc began with a simple yet bold idea to bring the vibrant flavors of Korean Fried Chicken to London, a city known for its love of all things fried. Since 2014, we’ve been on a mission to share the true taste of Korean traditional food with the world, one crispy bite at a time.
The Beginning
It all started in Elephant and Castle, where Lee, a passionate lover of Korean Fried Chicken, opened our first branch. Lee had a vision—to introduce Londoners to the delicious, crispy world of Korean Fried Chicken, a flavorful alternative to the well-known Kentucky style. With its bright, modern approach, CheeMc quickly became a hit among chicken lovers seeking something new and different.
The Innovation
Lee’s concept was to be the first in the UK to cook each order fresh, offering customers a personalized experience where they could truly savor the fresh delights of Korean traditional food. This commitment to quality and innovation set CheeMc apart from the start.
We’ve since expanded to our vibrant Soho location, where we’ve added a karaoke lounge to create a lively, all-encompassing experience.
